All you need is a simple marinade and a fresh wild Alaskan salmon filet for a delicious dinner at home 🐟

SAVE this for one of our favorite marinades for summer:
🐟 Olive oil: 1/3 cup
🐟 Soy sauce: 1/4 cup
🐟 Sesame oil: 1 tbsp
🐟 Garlic powder: 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 fresh cloves, minced)
🐟 Brown sugar: 2-3 tbsp (depending on how sweet you like it)
🐟 Salt/pepper/garlic mix: a good shake to taste
🐟 Orange zest: half an orange
🐟 Orange juice: juice of one orange
🐟 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

All quantities are approximate! Measure with your heart, taste test before you marinate your salmon, and enjoy!

This one's really special 🥹

This batch of salmon candy just landed in Chicago in time for our weekend markets, and it's made with fresh sockeye our family caught in Hook Point.

We caught the fish, then sent it to our friends at Kodiak Island WildSource, a local processor owned and operated by the Sun’aq Tribe, for processing using their heirloom recipe.
