the bees have been so busy this spring. they have grown into very populous colonies, and are focusing on honey production. I raised a few of my own queens this spring too. honey production this spring was helped by plenty of great weather. the weight of the honey supers shows just how hard the bees worked this spring. the last two weekends allowed me to harvest 60 frames. this weekend will be a busy one, with all the honey from those frames being extracted and jarred. if you are as excited for this springs honey feel free to message me for your order.

busy morning bottling over 50lbs of honey. this is going to be the summer honey before the final fall harvest. the beehives currently are smelling of goldenrod nectar meaning fall is right around the corner.

eventful day to say the least. came out to do inspections and mid way I see a swarm happening. however, it is not just one swarm but two at the same time. each one decided to go on its separate tree. both of them were captured after some tree climbing and than put into new homes.
