Quick facts about Coturnix quail:
- Coturnix quail are full grown in 6 weeks!
- Females start laying eggs at 8 weeks of age and produce about 6 eggs per week!
- Coturnix quail have been used to train dogs! You don’t need a license to own Coturnix and you can use them year round.
- Coturnix are a small bird that can be raised in a small area to produce food for you and your family. If you’re considering sources for sustainability, consider Coturnix! They can be raised in a rabbit pen or a similar pen. We raise our babies in a hamster pen.
