Happy Earth Day. It seems pretty simple--we take care of the Earth, and the Earth takes care of us. We all want pure water, clean air, and healthy soil. But too often, we choose what’s most convenient, what’s cheapest, what gives us the quickest dopamine hit. Our actions don’t always match our values, and Nature has been telling us that for a while now. She’s tired of being ignored.
For us, caring for the Earth means making intentional choices every day. It means investing in composting, planting vines suited for sustainable growth in the Finger Lakes, and partnering with the Community Science Institute to continually monitor and protect our water. These aren’t shortcuts, they’re commitments. We do this because we love this land.
Happy Earth Day to everyone who honors the planet not just today, but through the small, conscious choices made all year long.
