Join us for a seasonal bouquet-making & painting workshop surrounded by fresh cut flowers. We’ll create floral bouquets, enjoy light bites, and spend the afternoon painting our own bouquets! Art workshop led by & artist .creativespace 🎨🌸💐

🪴 SEEDLING SALE STARTS TOMORROW! MAY 9th - JUNE 21🪴

Our seedling sale is officially underway at Adama Farm! We currently have a selection of kale🥬 , cauliflower, tangerine gem marigolds 🌼 & tomatoes 🍅 hardened off for you to take home. All pots are $4 each.

Throughout the season we’ll continue putting out different varieties as weather conditions improve (here’s a full list of what we will have through June 21st):
🍅 tomatoes
🌶 peppers
🥒 cucumbers
🍆 eggplant
🌼 tangerine gem marigolds
🥬 kale
🥦 cauliflower
🌱 basil
☀️ summer squash, zucchini & patty pans + more

All of our seedlings are grown right here on the farm using our no-till, no-spray practices and have been hardened off before being made available 🌿. We get our seeds from Johnnys Seeds & use an organic potting soil mix from Ohio Earth Foods.

Please remember: certain crops can only safely go out once temperatures allow, so more varieties will continue rolling out over the next few weeks!

Anyone else deeply annoyed with the cold front / weather?

According to the crop plan, these tomatoes should’ve been in the ground last week. But with cold nights, it’s just too risky.

After potting up, they’ve exploded. Some are already starting to flower. They’re ready. Past ready.

Despite the cold front, I’ve made the decision to plant them tomorrow.

I’ve been hardening off for almost 2 weeks, and tonight I’m hardening them off in the tunnel with row cover so they can adjust to where they’ll live all season.
Slow exposure → stronger plants → less transplant shock.

Pushing the timing a bit… but trusting it’ll pay off. 🙏🌱🍅

April, and everything is coming alive again✨
New crew, dirty hands, and so much learning already 🚜💪🌱🐓👩‍🌾

Greenhouse days, seed trays filled, beds prepped, wash/pack cleaned and ready for the season ahead. Onions, bok choy, lettuce, salad greens, carrots, beets, radishes—all in the ground 🌱

Rhubarb, tulips and garlic are waking up… and so are we 😅. Life feels really beautiful right now.

And our first community dinner? chef’s kiss.
So grateful for this crew already 🤍😆
