Ingredients
• 2–4 salmon fillets (skin on or off)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or herb blend
• ½ teaspoon paprika
• Salt and black pepper to taste
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• Optional: fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Season the salmon: Pat salmon dry. Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
2. Heat the pan: Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
3. Sear the salmon: Place salmon in the pan skin-side down. Cook undisturbed for 4–5 minutes until crispy and golden.
4. Flip & add garlic: Flip salmon carefully. Add minced garlic to the pan and spoon the oil over the salmon.
5. Finish cooking: Cook another 3–4 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
6. Add lemon: Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon, remove from heat, and garnish with parsley.
