Everyone, I created a Farmer Tom's group and everyone is invited to join if they wish to do so. Farmer Tom's is still suspended; however, the group could be used to initiate discussion and sharing of your favorite recipes, gardening tips and ideas, farming techniques, nature crafts and food preservation ideas. Thank you everyone for your condolences on the passing of Farmer Tom. I worked for him for five years before I was diagnosed with kidney disease, and I am convinced that due to his knowledge about nutrition and organic produce, that I am headed in the right direction with my healing. I am very grateful to have known him as a person, an employer and a true humanitarian whose main goal was to be able to feed everyone the best organic produce available. He will be missed.

Sorrowful news to report. Sadly on January 18th Tom Ulick Founder of Farmer Toms CSA passed away from Parkinsons disease. Tom devoted his life and organic farming practices to helping others receive affordable organic produce. Tom developed one of the first community supported agriculture models of its kind in the Chicago land area providing home delivery and pick up sites throughout the city and suburbs.
His spirit is now free after a long hard battle. We will miss him greatly. 🙏
