Immune boosting Lemon & Ginger infused Honey!
You’ll need fresh lemon, ginger and raw local honey.
• Wash lemon and ginger throughly
• Thinly slice the lemon, remove any seeds
• Peel and thinly slice ginger
• Start with a layer of sliced lemon and ginger in a clean canning glass jar
• Cover the lemon and ginger with a layer of honey, then continue layer lemon, ginger and honey until the jar is filled. Make sure to top off with honey
• Allow the mixture to infuse at room temperature for about 8 hours, then refrigerate the honey*
• Use it within 7-10 days
* Since there is moisture and acid in the honey because of the fresh lemon and ginger. They change the PH balance of the honey, so the honey will “spoil” if left out at room temperature for too long.
