Never Surrender was the very first bourbon we ever released. No roadmap. No guarantees. Just a belief that if we bottled whiskey we were proud of, the rest would take care of itself.

Three years later, it’s become harder and harder to find. Most bottles have long since been opened, shared, and enjoyed. But every so often, one still turns up on a shelf, waiting for the right person to discover it.

If you happen to come across one, don’t leave it behind. You’re holding a small piece of our history.

The best bottles always seem to find the best conversations.

Tonight was one of those nights.

Sharing The Beautiful and The Damned over sushi with Dan () reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. No hype. No pretense. Just honest whiskey, good food, and people who genuinely appreciate the craft.

And yes… sushi with cask-strength bourbon and rye is officially underrated.

The Last Lion picked up 98 points at SFWSC and a finalist nod for Best Small Batch Bourbon in the World. Good company for a Thursday night, honestly.

We didn’t chase those scores so the bottle could sit pretty on a shelf. Pour a glass. Share it if you’re feeling generous. There’s always another bottle.

The hunt is the craft. The honesty is the identity.

Old Orleans from the multiple award-winning The Beautiful and The Damned. Five to six years in new charred oak. Finished in toasted French Revere. 94 proof and a price that is as approachable as the whiskey.
