Olympia Meats is a full service butcher shop proudly serving Chicago’s restaurants and communities since 1969. CLOSED FOR BUSINESS - EFFECTIVE JULY 23, 2017.

Our butchers have more than 100 years of collective experience, are trained in whole animal butchery, and are passionate about their craft. Olympia Meats is officially CLOSED for business. It was our family's great honor to serve the West Loop community for more than 40 years!

Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for your support and patronage - we will miss serving you and seeing your smiling faces each day.

Thank you too to our amazing business neighbors. We wish you the very best of luck and are excited to enjoy the booming Randolph Street as patrons of your wonderful businesses.

Stay tuned for what's coming next at 810 W. Randolph St. The building will be under new ownership and we hear they've got great new ideas for the spot!

This rainy weather makes us want to curl up on the couch with homemade chicken soup for the soul. Come in and get one of our organic Amish chickens to use in Tyler Florence's super simple recipe. Don't worry - we will break the chicken down for you - no mess!

Pro-tip: The stock from this recipe was so good all we did was strain it, and add egg noodles, shredded chicken, and two fresh 🥕 Made enough for dinner for 4 plus leftovers.
