Malik sold thousands of bottles of his exotic hot sauce blend directly to the people and the entire city got “Lost In The Sauce!”
This is when the people of Chicago renamed Malik “The Hot Sauce Boss!” and the name just stuck. The Hot Sauce Boss sold so many bottles of Hot Sauce on Madison Ave that “Hot Sauce!” became the new slogan in “The Madhouse on Madison”, Home of the Chicago Bulls. Now, The Hot Sauce Boss will make special custom Hot Sauces for each of all 30 NBA teams reflecting their regions and playing style. July 2012 The Hot Sauce Boss became an officially licensed product of the National Basketball Association. “Hot Sauce!” went from the slogan of the streets of Chicago to the entire NBA. Now when any player slam dunks or hits the three, he’s got the “Hot Sauce!!!” Now go get lost in the Sauce!!! In a vast array of never before flavors ranging from Guava Mango coconut Hot Sauce, to Pineapple coconut Hot Sauce, to Strawberry, to Watermelon Hot Sauce. Each flavor corresponds to an NBA team with the team logo as the name of the sauce Miami Heat, New York Knicks Sauce, Oklahoma City Thunder Sauce, Los Angeles Lakers Sauce, and Chicago Bulls.
