Most of Herbal Alchemy doesn’t happen in front of people.

It happens in quiet hours,
measuring botanicals by hand,
adjusting ratios,
tasting, reworking, starting again.

Each syrup begins with a feeling.
A question.
A memory.

And slowly, through process and patience, it becomes something you can taste.

Lately, some of that work has been moving out of the kitchen and into shared space.

I’ve been given the opportunity to work and host tastings at , and it’s been incredibly meaningful to have a place where this can live, breathe, and be experienced with others.

There’s something different about making this work in community.
People bring their memories, their stories, and suddenly it becomes something bigger and more beautiful than what I could create alone.

I’m deeply grateful for the space, the people, and the chance to keep building this slowly and intentionally.

Herbal Alchemy is coming to River North.

This is an invitation to slow down.

We’ll explore the connection between flavor and memory, and how a simple sip can bring you back to places, people, and moments you didn’t expect to revisit.

A taste can bring you back.
The question is, to where?

What to expect:
• a guided tasting of four seasonal syrups
• simple prompts to explore flavor and memory
• drink pairings you can recreate at home

I’m honored to share that Herbal Alchemy has been selected for the 2026 Chicago All F&B Team by ✨

That means you can find me, and taste what I’ve been crafting, at the 6th Annual Great Chicago Food Bash on January 28.

I’ll be exhibiting alongside fifteen remarkable food & beverage startups for this one-night gathering of Chicago’s rising culinary voices, live at Hoste Cocktails in Pilsen.

And the evening will also feature an intimate conversation with Top Chef finalist, Chopped champion, and Chicago’s own Master of the Masala, Chef Zubair Mohajir.
