This weekend, Farmed & Forged is adding additional food assistance for La Porte County families impacted by the recent severe storms and widespread power outages.

Thanks to a Storm Relief grant from Health Foundation of La Porte, SNAP shoppers at our Michigan City and La Porte markets will receive an additional $20 match on top of our regular Triple SNAP Match!

That means:
$20 in SNAP = up to $80 to spend on SNAP-eligible food!

For families already navigating food insecurity, losing groceries during an outage or dealing with unexpected storm-related expenses can create an even greater burden. This is one way we can help families recover a little faster while keeping those relief dollars circulating with local farmers and food producers, many of whom have also spent the last week donating food, volunteering, and helping their neighbors.

Storm Relief Match funding is available while funds last.
