🍫 Ekler Rulo Pasta — Creamy Chocolate Eclair Roll Dessert
This Ekler Rulo Pasta is a delicious Turkish dessert inspired by classic éclair pastry. It combines soft choux dough, silky chocolate cream filling, and a rich chocolate glaze on top.
The result is a light, creamy, and indulgent dessert that melts in your mouth. Perfect for special occasions or when you want to impress guests with a bakery-style treat at home.
🥄 Cream Filling
Ingredients
400 ml milk (2 cups)
50 g corn starch (½ cup)
10 g flour (1 tbsp)
90 g sugar
20 g butter (1 tbsp)
1 packet vanilla (5 g)
90 g dark chocolate
50 ml cream (or milk)
Preparation
Mix milk, starch, flour, and sugar in a pot.
Cook while stirring until thick.
Add butter, dark chocolate, and vanilla.
Cover with plastic wrap touching the cream and let cool.
Refrigerate overnight.
Next day add cream and whip until smooth and silky.
🍞 Choux Dough
Ingredients
100 g butter
1 cup water (200 ml)
1 cup + 3 tbsp flour (150 g)
4 eggs
Pinch of salt
1 tsp sugar
Preparation
Heat water, butter, salt, and sugar in a pot.
Once butter melts, add flour and stir quickly.
Cook until dough pulls away from the pan.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing quickly.
Spread dough on baking paper or pipe strips.
Bake in a preheated 160°C fan oven for 30 minutes.
While hot, place a damp baking paper on top for 5 minutes and gently shape into a roll.
🍫 Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients
90 g butter
120 g dark chocolate
Preparation
Melt butter.
Add chocolate and stir until smooth.
Heat gently if needed until the sauce reaches a smooth pouring consistency.
