Featured Farmer Friday: Chism Chicken Ranch

Meet Chism Chicken Ranch, a pasture-based poultry farm where chickens are raised with care, transparency, and a deep respect for the land.

Their birds are raised outdoors on pasture, where they have space to peck, scratch, forage, and roam throughout the day. With daily pasture rotation, the flock is moved to fresh ground regularly, giving the birds a clean environment while also supporting long-term soil health.

Chism Chicken Ranch raises their chickens without GMOs, added hormones, or routine antibiotics, with a focus on proactive animal care and low-stress handling.

In their words, they believe it is important to provide their community with a local product that brings nutritional value back to the table, both now and for future generations.
