French fries are and always will be my favorite food. 🍟 Call me a picky eater if you want, I like what I like!! BUT… Gina Hansen | Food Content Creator & Photographer was right about this one. Vietnamese food is amazing, and banh mi sandwiches have officially made their way onto my list of favorite foods. The honey grilled pork, crunchy veggies, lemongrass, and jalapeño at Lotus Banh Mi? It’s SO GOOD.

What do you order when a restaurant doesn’t have french fries? But this time the answer is easy…

At Mimi’s Craft Kitchen, I was looking for comfort food. The Marry Me lobster and shrimp pasta was rich, creamy, and exactly what I needed to cope with no fries. This was also my first time trying crack corn and I could NOT stop eating it. 😍

If you’re looking for comfort food in Chicago, soul food-inspired dishes, or a spot on the west side of town for happy hour drinks this is the place!

I’ve been trying to find more things to do in Logan Square that aren’t just eating (French fries) 😂 and I finally found one!

Charm Bar has permanent friendship bracelets, charm bracelets, and even paint & sip where you can add a charm to your w**e glass. How cute is that?

They had SO many charms to look through. I was looking for a French fry charm for way longer than I’d like to admit, but no luck. 😭🍟

Chicago girls, save this for your next Logan Square outing! Just make sure you find some French fries afterward.

This is one of the easiest ways to see Chicago while staying warm this fall and winter. Have you been yet?

Okay but can we talk about waffle cut fries really quick?

If you’re making loaded fries at home, this is your sign to use waffle cuts. The texture just makes sense. More crispy edges, more places for all those toppings to hang onto.

This is the kind of highly specific French fry knowledge you can only get from a French fry influencer. 😂

Summer isn’t over yet, but apparently we’re giving it a little fall twist 🍋🍎

Here’s how I made my summer-to-fall lemonade:

½ Lemonati Sparkling Lemonade
½ apple c***r
Caramel drizzle
Ice
Apple slice
Caramel apple sucker

It’s that easy!

Chicago, I’m waiting for an answer!!

Local Style makes kettle-cooked potato chips inspired by some of our most iconic flavors: Italian beef, Chicago hot dog, deep dish pizza, and hot giardiniera. What a fun idea!

I tried the Italian beef and Chicago hot dog flavors, and I’m officially obsessed. The flavors are SO good, especially when you mix them together.

But have you guys tried these yet? Chicago foodies, i NEED you to try it and give your official opinion! I also can’t wait to get my hands on those other flavors! Which ones have you tried?

Maybe we need to stop asking which pizza chain is the best and start asking which local pizza spot we haven’t tried yet 👀

Caruso’s had me convinced from the appetizers alone. The Bosco sticks, cheese fries, wings, chicken tenders… everything was hitting, and the pizza held up even as leftovers.

Plus, their chocolate cake? Save room.
