The ducks decided to take a field trip this morning. The turkeys decided they were also ducks. You never know what the day holds on the homestead.

Turns out the ducklings are extremely intelligent. They managed to somehow breakout of the duck coop this morning and decided to go swimming on their own. All ducklings were returned to Mama Duck.

Had to go and get the eggs that were laid in the back of the coop. All while avoiding Mama Duck 2. Somehow Nathan made it out unscathed.

Mama Duck 1 was out with the ducklings when we got home enjoying a nice swim in the pond.

We decided this year if any ducks went broody to let them hatch out. We have one that successfully has hatched some ducklings and this pair that have about 2 weeks left before theirs hatch out.

Came out to our Mama Duck hatching off her clutch of eggs this morning.
