PADUCAH - Long-haul trucker Eddie Ison, 51, sent shockwaves through the Flying J truck stop yesterday by embarking on a spontaneous, cross-country romance. After just two days from meeting "parking lot hostess" Marlene, 34, he asked her to join him on his upcoming coast-to-coast delivery run.

"When I looked into her eyes, I just knew she was special," admits the Paducah man. "The heart wants what it wants, even if 'what it wants' is someone you met yesterday outside the diesel pumps."

Marlene, who has a rumored heart of gold and knows her way around a big rig, happily agreed. "It’s a big country, and Eddie has a big personality," she chirped, securing a large duffel bag full of toiletries next to Ison’s collection of beef jerky. "I'm looking forward to getting to know him better."

The couple departed this morning, with Ison confidently predicting that the 3,000-mile journey would either result in a proposal or a restraining order.

Dress code- come as you are.
Mutual respect is enforced by yours truly. Everyone who's anyone can comprende.

If you come in to people watch and spread your do**he canoe vibe, you're going to be removed with or without assistance. This ain't the town pump where old folks tend to sit around and gossip. With respect, they can keep that place and all us have our place.

That said, the business will be open to the public and I reserve the right to refuse services to anyone. I will put your name and likeness on the wall of shame if you get 86d.

Pet friendly. Show me your fur babies. Kindly, have them on a leash, especially if it's your service animal.

RESPECT everyone. If you are causing a disturbance just by being present to gather information and gossip about things because you are old, bored, and cunty, I will ban you for life.

I will update this as the business progresses. I stand on all ten guaranteeing a fun and inclusive environment that I know is sorely needed in town.

When I am ready to open the doors I will announce publicly. Its choice/prime location with high traffic and for those like me, the parking situation is excellent. Park anything with wheels. Tie off yo horse. Just bring yo ass and pass the vibe check.

People be like, "So what do you do for work?" "Bad s**t n***a." The thangs i used to do were very much out of rebellion, survivor's guilt, self-loathing, pride, and greed. The thangs I do now are from a place of love, kindness, and gratitude.

That said, I am more FAFO than most of you can fathom.

Ah, better than good. (1st whiskey drink of Fall)

The past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind of success i don't post about as well as reconnecting with great people and choppin it up like we didn't skip a beat.

There are two people id like to thank for saving me from me.

In 2015 during my recovery from my coma, I was struggling through liquidating most of my assets to manage financially. Pay yo bills. Taking care of my family. Im in rebuilding mode now and mentally solid and have, in fact, stood on business regarding my refusal of medications. I talk real talk and mean what I say.

Love me or just love to hate, I see you playa. You're all fans to me.

Join me in a toast to Cody Garretson and Tyler Sewell . 2015 Cody randomly called the moment I literally had a pistol to my head. Talked me down. 2025 Tyler drove me to the VA where I checked myself in for a few days. "Iron sharpens iron."

Im tiring of typing and its time for music.
