Well, it's been a fun and eventful start to 2026 at Norm-E-Lane! Big thanks to RZ Builders and Fellenz concrete for the construction of 2 new calf barns as well as additions on our shop. Farm and business conferences are always a part of winter, providing opportunities for our team members to learn, grow and interact with the wonderful people in our industry. The big snowstorm was an adventure, and hoping we don't see one like that again for awhile.. Lots of work by our cropping and maintenance crews getting equipment ready and planning for spring planting. Alex, Shawn and the crew at our Hillsdale location continue to do a great job, as the decision to become a multi-site dairy farm has been a rewarding one. We always look forward to sharing our farm and our story with people through tours as well as social media. We also are passionate about our recreational land, so logging and caring for the woods and wildlife is a part of what we do. Same goes for fitness and living a strong life, as we have begun a "farmfit" journey to promote this within our families. Otherwise, we continue to follow our mission and grow our business through "passionate people, meaningful relationships, leading edge farming, and exceptional animal care". We are excited to have recently started a partnership with a neighboring farm family, Emmett continues to grow his new beef program, and we look forward to the many opportunities ahead in this awesome way of life we call farming!
