Our LGDs took a trip to the vet for their annual well check today, and they were the best passengers. 🐾💛
Pearl, Raven, and Aspen were a hoot! Raven thought she was old enough to drive. Pearl wanted shotgun! Aspen…..she was as sweet as could be… refusing to walk & insisting on being carried 👑

It is so hard to believe they are almost one already! Feels like just yesterday they were tiny pups, and now they are big, beautiful protectors. We are so thankful for these sweet dogs and all the love they bring.

From Ohio ➡️ West Virginia ➡️ and now off to North Carolina… our sweet boy Cotton is headed to his next big adventure 🤍

This one is a little bittersweet for us. Cotton isn’t just any lamb—he’s our handsome, lovable F2 Valais Blacknose who was bottle-fed by Kaila for the first two weeks of his life. That extra love and care made him into the incredibly social, affectionate little guy everyone falls in love with.

And now… he’s going to be living his BEST life 🥹✨

Cotton will be one of the main stars in a mobile petting zoo, traveling to schools and helping teach children about animals and farm life. He’ll have new friends too—including a baby kangaroo (how cool is that?!) 🦘

While our hearts are a little heavy saying goodbye, we couldn’t have dreamed up a better future for him. He’s going to bring so much joy, learning, and smiles to so many people.

We will miss you more than you know, sweet Cotton… but we are so excited to watch you shine 💛🐑

Everyone is snug, warm, and safe after a cold night ❄️❤️
We welcomed a new little lamb into the world last night 🐑—doing well and staying cozy under the heat lamp.

And Raven? Already up and hopping around like he owns the place 🖤

There’s nothing better than walking into the barn and seeing full bellies, warm beds, and healthy babies.

This is why we do it.

t’s a very special day at The Denali Ranch! 🐑

Our sweet Babydoll ewe, Lilly, delivered a beautiful lamb today. Mom and baby are doing well, and we are already completely in love with this tiny new member of the ranch.

There is nothing sweeter than spring babies on the farm. More photos coming soon!

Today was Junie’s last ride 🖤🐑😭

The pastures were quiet as we walked her to her final resting place here at The Denali Ranch. She gave us years of memories, lessons, and moments we’ll never forget.

Animals leave hoofprints on the land… but the ones like June leave them on our hearts too.

Run free, sweet girl. Your pasture is endless now. 🌾

Today is a very sad day at The Denali Ranch.

We lost our beloved Junie (aka Pam) while she was giving birth. The baby was coming head first without the hooves positioned correctly, and she pushed and fought like an absolute champion. Sadly, despite her strength, she lost that battle.

We immediately jumped into action to try to save the baby. After performing a home cesarean, we were able to deliver the lamb — but heartbreakingly, it was stillborn. The lamb was quite large, which was likely the reason Junie struggled during delivery.

Junie was a registered purebred Southdown Babydoll, and she gave us some of the best lambs on our farm. Her legacy lives on through two of her offspring, Vonnie and Pancake, who are both thriving and proving to be wonderful mothers — just like their mama.

Junie had the sweetest face and the gentlest soul. She will always hold a special place in our hearts and in the story of this farm. 💔🐑

Rest easy, sweet girl. You were deeply loved.

🖤Meet Our Newest Little Gentlemen🖤

This all-black purebred Babydoll Southdown wether lamb has already decided he prefers the VIP treatment — cuddles included. 🐑

He’s as sweet as they come and has been getting plenty of attention since arriving. With that soft Babydoll fleece and those bright eyes, it’s pretty easy to see why he stole some hearts quickly.

🚜 Farm Supervisor On Duty 🚜

Apparently the newest member of The Denali Ranch has already taken over equipment inspections… and he’s only a few days old. 🐑

This little F3Valais Blacknose lamb decided the tractor needed a full safety check before chores could continue. We’re happy to report everything passed inspection (with a few tiny hoof prints for approval).

Lambing season has officially begun and we’re pretty sure this little guy thinks he runs the place already.

🐑❤️ **UPDATE: PENDING HOME** ❤️🐑

We are truly **overwhelmed by the response and interest** shown for our sweet little bottle baby! Thank you to everyone who reached out, shared our post, and showed this special guy so much love.

His **new mama and pastures are currently pending**, and we think he’s going to absolutely **thrive in his new home**. Bottle babies form such incredible bonds with their people, and we cannot wait to watch him **grow up and see all the amazing things this little guy will do**.
