Join us for this ONE-day, fun-filled, FREE event where students and their families will walk away motivated and prepared for success in the show ring! This program, hosted by Stock Show University®, will be covering the topics of daily care, clipping, fitting, proper breakdown, and showmanship. This event is designed so participants can bring their animals and work one-on-one with the industry's best and most talented "Professors." 🔥 Livingston County Cattlemen’s is bringing the BEEF to the Missouri State Fair! 🥩

Stop by the Missouri Beef House this Friday from 2–6 PM to visit with our members who are volunteering, say hello, and enjoy a delicious beef meal. We can’t wait to see you!

Be sure to check out what a few of our LCCA members will be doing during the fair:

👩‍🍳 Missouri Beef Ambassador & LCCA member Claire Walker will be showcasing her beef cooking skills with BEEF cooking demonstrations on Tuesday, August 18 at 2 PM and 3 PM.

🥩 LCCA State Director Rhonda Oesch will be sharing more delicious beef recipes during cooking demonstrations on Friday, August 21 from 11 AM–1 PM.

🌾 LCCA Membership Chair Kaylie Campbell’s HighBar K Livestock & Tallow will be featured in the Missouri Grown USA market section of the Agriculture Building. Be sure to stop by and check out their products!

The Missouri State Fair is a great opportunity to celebrate agriculture, support local producers, and showcase the people who make our industry strong.

📢 Missouri Cattlemen’s Association Members & Affiliate Members

You are invited to join an informational session this Friday, July 24th on Amendment 5, available in person in Columbia or virtually via Zoom.

This session is intended to be a neutral discussion. The Missouri Cattlemen’s Association is not taking a position on Amendment 5. Instead, they have invited one speaker in favor of the amendment and one speaker opposed to it to present the pros and cons and share their perspectives.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more, hear both sides, and make an informed decision.

The Livingston County Cattlemen's Association (LCCA) is proud to partner with the Chillicothe R-II School District in supporting efforts to bring locally raised beef to our students. Through USDA grant funding, the District recently purchased local beef from Reeter Farms, helping connect our schools with local agricultural producers while providing students with a high-quality protein source.

Chad and Jill Reeter, along with Seth and Lainie Reeter, are proud supporters and members of the Livingston County Cattlemen's Association. This collaboration is a great step forward in strengthening the connection between local agriculture and our schools while supporting Missouri cattle producers.

Be sure to watch for more updates and opportunities to get involved. LCCA is excited to continue working with Chillicothe R-II School District and looks forward to an upcoming event this fall focused on serving and educating students about agriculture and the beef industry.

Chillicothe R-II has been awarded a $12,000 USDA Local Food for Schools grant! In 2026–27, we’ll feature one “local foods” Friday each month with locally-grown produce and beef. Stronger Together! Go to https://www.chillicotheschools.org/article/3038651 to learn more!

The Livingston County Cattlemen’s will be working a volunteer shift at the Missouri Beef House during the Missouri State Fair on Friday, August 14th from 2:00–6:00 PM.

We’ll be joining other cattlemen’s groups from across the state—what a great opportunity to connect with fellow beef producers and support the industry we’re proud of!
