Haven't checked in on this page in a few months with winter leaving us everything is starting back up good around here, we have the ground preparing for our garden, I have eggs in the incubator, our rabbit breeding has begun and we will be expecting bunnies starting the first week of March.

How's everyone's birds holding up in this heat ?

Mine like clockwork have nearly stopped laying due to the outrageous heat. I have around 20 hens and I may get 1-4 eggs a day.
Even my quail are hardly laying.

This summer has been brutal here for us, so hatching babies will be on hold until these girls can catch a break in this heat.

So far all Turken babies except one, two more are still hatching but this round is way more successful.

I've been working on breeding Turken as a project bird, and I'm so excited with this turn out can't wait to see what the last two babies are.

Officially no plants in the garden, the summer heat this year just absolutely wrecked our crop.

Gardening is never over tho, in to preparing the ground for our fall and winter crops.
