👋 We wanted to jump on here this morning and clear up some of the questions we've received after yesterday's news coverage.

Yesterday, a federal judge granted a preliminary injunction allowing the ten companies involved in a recent lawsuit (and retailers carrying their products) to continue selling h**p-derived THC beverages in Ohio while the case moves forward.

While this is incredibly encouraging news for the industry, it does not apply to Fifty West Brewing Company or Drink Sunflower. We were not part of that lawsuit, so unfortunately nothing changes for us at this time. Sunflower is still not available for sale in Ohio.

If you're looking to grab some, you can still find Sunflower throughout Kentucky at retailers like Liquor Barn, The Party Source, and all other stores that carry h**p-derived beverages. We also ship directly to customers in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania through our website: https://bit.ly/4aWI1F7

We're continuing to monitor the situation closely, exploring every avenue available to us, and remain hopeful that future legal or legislative action will provide broader relief.

Small victories call for cake!! 🎉 (shoutout to Rylee for making us the cutest cake ever🌻).

Drinksunflower.com is officially live!! Now shipping to Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. 🙂Getting here took a lot of long days, late nights, problem-solving, and more spreadsheets than we ever expected. It’s not exactly how we envisioned this chapter, and it still breaks our hearts that we can’t currently serve our fellow Ohioans, but we’re determined to keep Sunflower growing!!

Bobby’s been up in D.C. alongside the Ohio Craft B**r and fellow brewers, continuing the push for smart, responsible h**p regulations that protect beverages like Drink Sunflower.

We believe this fight is worth fighting, not just for our team and the business we’ve worked hard to build, but for you. You told us what you wanted, and gave us the opportunity to create something you genuinely enjoy.

From conversations in Washington to working through the courts here in Ohio, we’re committed to using every platform available to advocate for fair, thoughtful regulation.

We’ve supported smart regulation from day one, and we’ll keep showing up, speaking up, and doing the work. Still optimistic. Still at the table. Still choosing to face the sun. 🌻🍻

i recently made a friend named barry. he kept telling me about his studio, so i stopped by yesterday. pastels on the table, light coming in just right, and stories in every corner. we shared a sunflower, talked about art and life for a while, and he even drew me a picture. you know those people who remind you of someone… an old neighbor, a friend you don’t see enough? yeah. that kind of afternoon you wanna have more of.
