It’s more of a reminder.

A reminder that how we grow, what we choose, and where our food comes from… all matters.

For us, it looks like being intentional.
Growing with purpose.
Keeping things simple.
And doing our part, even in small ways.

We may be a small farm, but we believe small things add up—

🌱 What Are Microgreens? 🌱

Microgreens are young, edible greens grown from specific vegetables and herbs — harvested early, just after they sprout their first leaves.

Not every plant is safe to eat at this stage, which is why microgreens are intentionally grown from varieties that are known to be edible and nutritious as young plants.

The difference is… instead of letting them grow into a full plant, microgreens are harvested early — when they’re tender, flavorful, and packed with everything they need to grow.

🌿 Why does that matter?
At this stage, the plant is loaded with nutrients, flavor, and energy — because it’s building itself from the ground up.

So when you eat microgreens, you’re getting:

• Strong, fresh flavor
• A concentrated source of nutrients
• A clean, tender bite

🥗 Simple ways to use them:
• Toss on a salad
• Add to a sandwich or wrap
• Mix into eggs or a bowl

Today feels a little quieter.

Good Friday isn’t a celebration… it’s a pause.
A moment to sit with sacrifice, with love, and with the kind of grace we don’t always fully understand.

I keep thinking about how often growth comes through hard seasons.
How the things that shape us most don’t always feel good in the moment… but they matter.

This day is a reminder of that.

That even in suffering, there is purpose.
Even in silence, something is being worked out.
And even when we don’t see it yet… something greater is coming.

At Honor Harvest Farms, we talk a lot about growing…but today, it’s not about what’s in the trays.

It’s about what’s happening in the heart.

Praying today brings you stillness, perspective, and peace — wherever you are and whatever season you’re walking through. ✝️
