Trying to train chickens to sleep IN their coop instead of flying or walking over the fence to sleep in the trees is NOT for the weak. 😂

Night 3 of playing hide-and-seek in the dark while trying to grab chickens out of trees. Thankfully, we had WAY fewer escapees tonight than we did on Night 1… so I’m calling that progress.

But let’s just say the humans are getting beat up more than the chickens at this point.

Currently down an elbow on Corey, and an ankle, knee, scraped hands AND legs for Stephanie.

We’re really hoping Night 4 goes a little smoother. 🥴🥴

Because apparently, teaching chickens where to sleep is our newest extreme sport.
