Everyone was worried about them having enough space they have all of the space and they choose to be on top of each other 😜😂

I have 2 February born roosters looking for new homes, the first one is Gary he is Cochin Bantam silkie mix. He is sweet and has the best feathers on his feet he also looks like an old man 😂 the second is a mottled silkie he is adorable.

I purchased eggs last spring from mutli NPIP farms I had one egg hatch from each batch so they parents are not related. They came from show quality non hatchery birds. The daddy rooster will be shown this summer by 10 year old. Both roosters have been held by children and are used to dogs and other animals being around. Small rehoming fee. ☝️✋

Pick up in fargher lake or I can meet in battle ground woodland or Longview depending on my work schedule.

Why does this baby rooster look like a Gary? 🤣🤣 Ryker loves this little guy but we don’t need another rooster!

Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and this batch was definitely a tough one for me! We ended up with 15, and out of those, 12 are roosters. 😭😭😭 I’m so bummed out because I don’t have any room or need for any more roosters. I already have two that I adore, and a third one that I really like. But fingers crossed, the next one will be a bit more hen and a little less rooster!

They’re learning so fast! You’ll see there are only five now, but I managed to find the sixth one just in time. She’s doing great and fits right in with the others still under the lights in the garage. I’m not sure why or what happened, but at five weeks, the momma just kicked her out. She got really cold and dehydrated, but she made a full recovery. She just can’t go back to her original clutch.

And since I didn’t have any snacks he left me back to his kid 🧡

I used every last bit of my leftover materials for this project, and it turned out beautifully! I started with a sturdy pallet as the base, then added a mini wire run-off from my old silkie coop. I also incorporated laminate and tile samples from retired colors that I picked for my current projects, along with some other hardware cloth scraps. It’s all covered with puppy pads and shavings, which makes it super easy to clean.
