This Saturday, Family Thyme Farm is bringing our fresh strawberry lemonade, classic lemonade and famous farmhouse cookies to the Cumberland County Fair! We’ll be serving beginning at 3 PM until close.

We gathered and arranged them here at Family Thyme Farm, then delivered them to Salvage Market!

Inside, you’ll find name-brand groceries at discounted prices, pantry staples, bread, deli and frozen foods, organic and natural finds, local and Amish goods, wellness products, home essentials and local eggs. Their selection is always changing, so there’s something new to discover each time you visit.

We’re so thankful for local businesses that support small family farms like ours. Stop in, shop around and take home a fresh bouquet while you’re there! 🌻

Turns out farm-sized finger knitting is a thing. 😂

We’ve taught finger knitting to our kids for years, and they still do it—but we always thought of it as simple handwork for children.

We never imagined it would someday become a legitimate farm skill.

Then came the row cover.

And obviously, once Matt and I realized what we were doing… we had to race. 😂

THE FARMER’S WIFE: years of finger-knitting experience.
THE FARMER: no known qualifications.

The result?

Apparently experience is overrated. 😂🏆

Rematch pending.

We loaded up the kids and freshly arranged bouquets for two local stops:

This evening while I was harvesting flowers, I couldn’t stop thinking about the words, “Consider the lilies of the field.”

I hope these bouquets become more than just flowers sitting on a table.

I hope they remind whoever brings them home that God filled this world with beauty on purpose—and that the same God who clothes the lilies of the field cares for them, too.

We’re so thankful to The Country Porch for making room for our flowers and welcoming our little family farm into the Muddy Pond community. 🤎
