I've been outcrossing for head shape, width/loin, and smaller size at the expense of ear, shoulders, and fur. Since it will be another generation or two or three until I get big ears on a small and wide rabbit, I let myself have one motivational pairing with two rabbits from my lines. This guy is on track to be overweight and is pretty narrow across the loin, but my goodness how nice it is to see 18" ears on a velveteen again 😍. Can't wait for those long-term improvements to pay off over the next couple years.

Ube wants to you know that she, Vanilla, Kitty, Gardenia, and Marigold have been busy with some serious late spring litters!

So far we have 30 kits, 20 does (!!) and 10 bucks. We may also have one last litter in a couple weeks from a WCC pairing with Sweetwood Rabbitry ☺️

Keep an eye out for some evaluation shots! These were good pairings.

Last call on some fall bucks here. These guys were out of an outcross pairing to improve fur density, head shape, and width, but have coarser fur and shorter ears than my rabbits are known for. Happy to work with transport!

Unfortunately my work schedule is nuts and I will be doing last-minute work trips through the spring, so I can only work with local pickups at this time. Once things settle down I will repost who is available for cross-country friends!
