Some CLE-area Market District stores are now carrying our Spice Rub! It's the spice mix we use in our BBQ sauces. AND, because it has only about 1/3 the salt of other rubs, it's relatively low in sodium! That's because we use herbs and spices for flavor, not salt. Is there salt in it? Yes - but not as much. (Note to self: gotta re-design the label to show that...) Use it on beef, use it on chicken, use it on fish, use it on eggs - but use it ON EVERYTHING!

The demo at Market District Strongsville went well! (And I met a very nice person demoing baby potatoes at the same time. FYI, potatoes go GREAT with BBQ sauce!) Tomorrow: Market District Green. Bring your potatoes.

Hats off to my colleagues at Micah Specialty Foods - look what I did with your Ghana Supreme Sauce! Sliced chix breast marinated & cooked in Supreme Sauce, into a hollowed-out brat roll, sprinkled with green onions and accompanied by some fresh corn on the cob - YUM!

Why am I posting this? Well, my colleagues at Micah occasionally post a photo or video of their products on the shelves at Meijer stores - and more often than not, I can see Smokin' Bettie's labels in the background! (If you don't believe me, go look at their FB posts!). So as a thank-you for the free subliminal advertising, I'm returning the favor. Oh, and I'm out of Supreme Sauce, so I need to go shopping...
