We had two great sampling events this past weekend, at Buehler's in New Philly and at Meijer in Medina! Thanks to everyone who came out, sampled, and purchased - we ran out of most of our products in *both* stores!

Even though it's peak BBQ season, we'll be out for two weekends as we refresh on a short but needed vacation, cruising for a week on the Chesapeake Bay. But we've already got seven (7!!!) events on our schedule between 6/18 and the July 4th weekend. So stay safe and EAT MORE BBQ!

In the spirit of "practice what you preach", here's the first smoke of the season: about 30 lbs of pork butt, smoked for 14 hours over mixed wood. It gets pulled, portioned, frozen, and slowly enjoyed over the next few months. Be nice to me and I'll invite you to lunch... I'll be the one with the BBQ Sauce!

Yes, we *are* in the new Meijer store in Bainbridge, Ohio! We're in the meat section on some shelves right next to the custom meats counter - thank you, Meijer, for giving us some nice real estate for our products!

We had to run down to Texas again to deal with family issues (all is well now). On the way down, we stopped at this little diner in southern Arkansas and had their shrimp & grits. The grits were AMAZING! The only thing missing? Some Maui Sauce, of course!

If you're ever in southern Arkansas on I-30 just south of Arkadelphia, check out the Southfork Restaurant, just off the highway. You won't be sorry! (But you'll have to bring your own Maui Sauce...)

UPDATE: Our visit to Meijer Sandusky has been changed to Meijer Avon for Sunday, April 19. We'll do Sandusky later in the summer! So all you Avon-area fans, come on out on Sunday between 11 and 2 to sample our BBQ and other sauces - it's time to break out your grills!
