Happy Thanksgiving 🦃

We have so much to be thankful for every day, but especially this year. From our wedding in August, to happy healthy ewes in our barn today, we have been truly blessed. We take today as an opportunity to thank all of our family, friends, and customers for the continued support - it is because of you we are able to continue chasing this (somewhat crazy) dream.

We have finally gotten all the late-gestation ewes moved off corn stalks to the barn and sorted them into their lambing groups for next week's lambing. The outside temperature has a real feel of 9°; the ewes, as well as us, are glad to be in the barn with fresh bedding. And not outside.🥶

We are beyond thankful for Robby at NRE Land Solutions LLC. and Nich at Wildt Excavation for completing this long overdue project. It might not seem like much, but having level ground to drive on will make a huge difference as we head into lambing season.

Local friends - if you are looking for help on your outdoor projects, we cannot recommend these guys enough. Their prices are fair and their work ethic is second to none. They had this project done in just over a day!

It’s time for an evening water break for our ewes on corn stalks!

While these sheep have access to our pond, it’s been so dry lately that it is now down below where they can safely drink from it. So, it’s water in an IBC tote and the tractor to keep these sheep hydrated!
