As we celebrate going into our fourth year here at the Shack, we can’t help but reflect on how incredibly thankful and blessed we are.
What started as a back porch “idea” has grown into something TRULY special, and none of it would have been possible without the support of our amazing customers, friends, and community!
Over the past four years, you’ve helped us earn honors that mean the world to us, including being voted Best Catfish in Missouri by Rural Missourians and most recently being recognized by Restaurant Guru as one of the Best Seafood Restaurants for 2026.
We are especially proud that Frank’s Fish Shack has become a favorite destination and a true “must-stop lake eat” for SO many people. We’ve had customers travel from ALL across Missouri and even across state lines, making special road trips just to eat HERE. Knowing that people choose to spend their time, money, and miles to visit US is something we never take for granted.
We take tremendous pride in every meal that leaves our kitchen. From our hand-dredged catfish and seafood favorites to our authentic Louisiana-style dishes: homemade gumbo, red beans, and scratch-made desserts, we work hard to serve food that stands apart! We believe there is simply nothing else quite like Frank’s Fish Shack, and we carry the responsibility of living up to that reputation with every plate we serve 💙
The recognition we’ve received is certainly an honor, but the greatest reward is seeing familiar faces return week after week and welcoming new customers who quickly become friends.
