As hard as it is to part with them, when you see pictures like this, selling heifers makes it all worthwhile. This is T-Pikeview DR Redda June Ray, being shown at the Spring Dairy Expo in Columbus a couple of weeks ago. I see a very bright future for these two kids!

On a small farm, it's not every day that you have cows (who were due 9 days apart), have their calves within 20 minutes of each other. Even more rare, the cows are SISTERS. Congratulations to Rachel & Sherona. They each had a beautiful heifer calf this afternoon.

We had a great time hosting this group last week. Minnie enjoyed showing how the milking process works too. We are looking forward to the next group on Monday!
