Bernadette and her sister Amy were the two that started it all.

She kidded over 30 babies in her lifetime and never once got sick or needed veterinary care. She was the healthiest, hardiest, grumpiest old goat I’ve ever known.
Thankfully she only passed those first 2 traits to her offspring.

Even as she began to slow down, she was still the boss and none of the others questioned her authority.

This is Cherry’s first time saddled up in over a year. It’s time to get us both back in shape after some time off. Lots of walk-trot transitions and just getting her brain back into working mode. Thankfully, she is pretty easy to get going again after time off. I did use the light weight practice saddle because it’s stirrups are more “flappy” and if she does something dumb, she won’t ruin my good saddle.

Turtle (tan) and Eric (black) are looking for greener pastures. They are 3 month old wethers who faint almost on command.
They enjoy the occasional fig newton and often pass their time lying lifelessly on the ground in a much beloved game we call “dead or sleeping.” These boys are twins, fraternal of course, and would very much like to spend their time together if possible
