Well, it’s finally happened. The boys are being evicted!

After a couple of years of transforming the backyard into a dirt-stomping, horn-swinging, snack-demanding wasteland, the goat brothers are officially going to be getting their own zip code! New fence sections are being installed, and the backyard rehab is underway. Grass is being replanted (again), on a section they no longer have access to, and we’ve got a wraparound deck and a fire pit on the vision board, so stay tuned for that glow-up!

For now,I'm looking forward to being able to walk outside without stepping in a surprise or getting stink-eyed by a goat with control issues. 😂

Get it all done just before noon and it’s already 95°? FREAKING ✅ CHECK!

We crushed it this morning. Even though we are only able to get pieces done before the weather turns into 🔥, it’s still progress 😌

I’m finding this life is NOT glamorous, it’s dirty, loud, and absolutely not sponsored by air conditioning! But, we’re still building, and chasing a dream that just so happens to be darn hard work, AND rewarding.

We’re not polished. We’re not influencers. We’re just a ragtag (for those needing a translation of this 18th-century term 😂: untidy, disorganized), and highly determined bunch figuring out how to farm, feed a family, and maybe not burn dinner in the process.
