Me, Google and Jesus delivered a baby goat.

WOW. What an experience. I had been watching this mama basically all day, waiting for her to have this baby, and when it was finally time, I realized he was coming out wrong and was simply too big to come out on his own. I have never searched so many things so quickly on my phone in my life. Jake was gone, so it was just me, Google and Jesus, trying to figure it out as I went. Somehow I was prepared enough to know what I needed to do, and after a whole lot of work, this little guy was finally here and ALIVE. Then baby #2 came out like it was absolutely no big deal. 😂

I truly never imagined my life would look like this, but here we are.

Our newest (literally born yesterday!!) little Boer baby wasn’t given the easiest start, but she’s officially part of the Weddlestead crew now; warm blankets, late-night feedings, sleepy snuggles, and all. Watching such a tiny thing fight so hard already has us completely obsessed with her. 🥹

Say a little prayer for this sweet girl while we nurse her back to health one bottle at a time. Welcome to the farm, Spirit. 🐐✨

The warmth of the sun, the smell of fresh(well maybe fresh isn’t the best word) hay, and the day two tiny goats changed everything.

Update: Koda has officially made friends with the mail lady. 🐾📬

Since he’s been hanging out by the back window lately, he’s been missing her when she comes by. Today we opened the mailbox and found two Ziploc baggies of treats addressed to him.

Safe to say he’s her favorite stop on the route. Small town living really is the best. Koda says thank you!!!❤️
