This week our farm in collaboration with Red Cedar Conservation Farmers shared with a class of conservation students from UWRF about several conservation practices. Some hands on experience about soil sampling, learning about drain tile, nutrient and fertilizer sources, 590 NMPs, nutrient management/stewardship, rotational grazing, diversified farms, cover crops, equipment used to apply nutrients, trees and several conservation practices used across the landscape. Everyone helped out where Milo had an opportunity to share his sisters and his project of "Soil your un**es", Bill shared farm history and forest management, Jeco talked Tillage and livestock diversification, Stephanie share about VRT, manure and lime, Tryston talked about nutrients and a huge thank you to Tina Barone for helping coordinate the event and talk about soil conservation. Never a dull moment on the Beyrer Farm promoting the importance of education of our youth and aspiring professionals.

Come find your next 2026 lamb project champion!
Hampshire x Suffolk club lambs born January through March weaning at 60 days. The lambs are bred to have large loin eyes, big rear saddle, eye appeal and show well in the club lamb show circuit.
They are sired by:
*(Chatter) Speechless x Roadrunner RRFF a wright ram that is a Unicorn grandson and Impact breeding on the bottom side.
*(Stick Jocky) a How High son.
*(Max) a Truce Son.
