We’ve Got a FULL Weekend of Joy, Culture & Community!

We’re stepping into Juneteenth weekend with a lineup that feels like pure community magic and you’re invited to every moment of it.

💚 Friday — Juneteenth Parade & Community Day (College Park)

We kick things off right here at home with a powerful celebration of culture, unity, and freedom.
Parade, music, activities, community love it’s all happening.

💚 Saturday — 3rd Annual New Godby Rd Community Day (Wrap-A-Lot)

We roll straight into Year 3 of this incredible unity festival!
Basketball tournament, vendors, food, music, fireworks, kids’ fun, and the Black Farmers Market holding it down all afternoon.

We still have a few vendor spots left for Saturday if you want in, message me ASAP.
This is your chance to be part of something beautiful.

Sunday — Juneteenth Atlanta Festival (Piedmont Park)

We close out the weekend strong at Piedmont Park for the final day of the Juneteenth Atlanta celebration.
Suga’s Urban Farm + Georgia Women in Ag will be there representing community, agriculture, and empowerment.

My UGA Ag Extension agent and her mentor came out to the College Park community garden yesterday, and they were absolutely amazing. The amount of knowledge they poured into us was incredible. They helped us map out our summer crops, tested the soil in the area where we’re preparing to plant, and showed us just how much potential this young garden truly has.

They also took photos and soil samples from our struggling elderberry plants to send to the lab so we can get answers and a clear path forward.

This support is completely free for farmers and gardeners. Your local Ag Extension office is truly here to help you grow and succeed. Reach out they want to see you thrive. 🌱💚

I will never stop pouring into myself.
I honor my growth, my healing, and the women I am becoming.I am fully, aligned, and committed to me.

So tonight I gently pour back into myself.
I soften where I’ve been hardened.
I heal where I’ve been stretched thin.
I return to myself with tenderness, patience, and love.

Excited doesn’t even begin to cover it.
We had an amazing meeting at the Café today, and it lit a fire under everything we’ve been planning new drinks, farm to table options, meal prep, events, and vending opportunities that are about to take things to a whole new level.

I cannot wait to share all the details with you this coming week.
Please keep an eye out for the announcements so much goodness is on the way.

Yesterday reminded me why I love this work. I joined Randell The Farmer And GreenHens Homestead to process our first round of meat chickens, and the energy was pure collaboration and joy.These birds will be feeding our community soon, and this is just the beginning of a project we’re building with so much excitement and intention.I’ll be hosting a community dinner soon so you can taste what teamwork, unity, and shared purpose can create.We were never meant to do this thing called life alone. Together, we win!

I'm so blessed to be part of such an amazing community of women. Women out here living boldly, building their visions, and making their dreams come true. Being surrounded by this kind of purpose, passion, and sisterhood is something I never take for
granted.
