THE GATES OF MORELANDSHIRE OPEN THIS WEEKEND!
His Majesty King Henry and Her Majesty Queen Anne have taken it upon themselves to perform a most important royal duty before Opening Weekend... sampling the mead and whiskey! Purely for the good of the realm, of course.

And this weekend, dedicated to “The Nectar of the Gods,” we intend to put such wisdom to very good use indeed!
Come, good gentles, and raise thy cups as we celebrate Opening Weekend of the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival! Enjoy FREE SAMPLINGS of some of the finest vintages crafted by local Pennsylvania artisans, wander the bustling lanes of Morelandshire, and join us as the village awakens once more with music, merriment, laughter, and revelry!
’Tis also Military Appreciation Weekend! All current members of the military and honored veterans shall receive BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE admission at the Festival Box Office, and their children 12 years of age and younger shall enter FREE!
The gates open at 10:30 AM! Secure thy tickets upon arrival at the gate, or employ that wondrous bit of modern sorcery known as “online.”
So gather thy family, summon thy Faire Crew, and make haste unto Morelandshire! King Henry and Queen Anne have begun the revelry without thee... and judging by the bottles, they appear to be taking their royal duties VERY seriously.
