I learned a new name for October this morning! Typically this is the season when we are so busy getting ready for all the spirts activities and the busy holidays ahead of us that we take this month to slow down in the kitchen, but still make nutritious meals for our families. This is the month when we pull out our Crockpots to free us up for all the extra activities. Hence, October became Crock-tober in kitchen speak! This morning I see where it is now being referred to as Slow-tober.

What are your thoughts?? Crock-tober or Slow-tober?

Hi y’all… I know it’s been a bit since I’ve posted, but you know how sometimes life routines change and upsets the apple cart! 🍎🍏 In my case a move across the country happened, 🚐 sooo now that I’m trying to settle in it’s time to get back in the groove!

Crocktober is just around the corner, and we’re still in settling in mode here, so thought I would share some easy recipes for any hectic days that are on your calendar 🗓️
