One day he’ll be an old man.
And I won’t be there to help him anymore.

And whew…
that’ll take the wind out of you real quick.

So if you see me letting him stay up a little later,
holding his hand a little longer,
or saying “yes” a little more…

this is why.

Just trying to soak up the “right now” while I still have it. 🤍

If they grow up and still want to come back…
to sit in my kitchen, to talk, to just be—

that’s how I’ll know I did something right. 🤍

Not perfect… just a place that felt like home.

No because why are they ALWAYS chewing something questionable 😅

I swear I spend half my day asking questions I never thought I’d say out loud…

Motherhood is beautiful.
Motherhood is meaningful.

…and motherhood is also
“SPIT THAT OUT RIGHT NOW.”

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve caught your kid eating?

Some days feel like you’ve got it all together…

and some days it feels like everything is just barely holding on.

But if your people are fed, loved, and safe—

you’re doing better than you think 🤍

One day you’ll pick them up for the last time.

You won’t know it’s the last time.

It’ll just be another normal moment.

Another sleepy cuddle.

Another “mommy hold me.”

And then one day you’ll realize…

they don’t fit in your arms the same way anymore.

Motherhood is made up of thousands of ordinary moments.

But those ordinary moments become the memories we’d give anything to relive.

So tonight if your little one asks for one more hug…

hold them a little longer.

10 things only moms understand:

• reheating the same coffee three times
• hiding snacks so the kids don’t find them
• bedtime somehow taking 2 hours
• googling kid symptoms at midnight
• stepping on toys barefoot
• hearing “mom” 47 times in five minutes
• finally sitting down… and someone needing something
• cleaning the kitchen just for it to get messy again
• kids saying they’re starving then eating two bites
• realizing these chaotic days are actually the good old days

Motherhood is exhausting.

But somehow… it’s also the sweetest season.

Which one would you add to this list? 👇

My toddler said she was starving.

So I made a full plate.

Chicken. Fruit. Crackers.

Five minutes later she ate two bites and said:

“I want a snack.”

Motherhood is basically running a restaurant where the customer complains about the menu you made specifically for them.

Anyone else feeding tiny food critics? 😅

If you're a tired mom reading this today…

God sees you.

He sees the lunches packed,
the bedtime prayers whispered,
the tears wiped,
the million tiny things no one else notices.

Motherhood can feel small in the moment.

But raising little hearts that know love, kindness, and faith is one of the most important callings there is.

So if today feels ordinary or exhausting…

take a breath and remember:

You’re not just getting through the day.

You’re building a life.
