He was offered $15 million, but chose his farm over a fortune. 🌾

In Pennsylvania, 86-year-old farmer Mervin Raudabaugh turned down a massive offer from developers who wanted to turn his 261 acres of farmland into a data center.

Instead of taking the money, he sold the development rights to a farmland trust for much less, making sure the land will stay a farm for generations.

His reason was simple: “It was my life. I was not interested in destroying my farms.”

While data centers continue spreading across the country, Mervin chose open fields, soil, and legacy over profit.

He could have walked away with millions. Instead, he protected the land that shaped his life.

Sometimes, the richest decision is the one money cannot buy. 🌱🙏

Well lambing didn’t end how we wanted it to with the last ewe of the year having her baby unfortunately the baby didn’t make it. But we have a healthy mom and two healthy lambs from the other ewe. We will put the ewe that lost her baby back out with the ram and try for early fall lambs.

Not really a surprise I have been waiting on this ewe to lamb but she finally released her hostages and gave us our first lambs of 26 a little ewe lamb and a little ram lamb
