I think Dudly has claimed 117 as his unofficial mama. He still eats from the bucket but he sleeps near her. 117 does seem to keep an eye on him too even though she has her own calf now. 💓

Working on day 3 of hay making. Tedding, raking, baling and hauling it home. It really does take a village to get it done.

This handsome man is Bootsie. We adopted him from The Fort Wayne Humane Shelter about 2 yrs ago. Bootsie was considered a working cat. (Link below)
He is always near, but rarely invades your space. He does enjoy a scratch on his head or maybe on the belly.
He’s enjoying his best life here and on our farm.

It is reasonable to question the circumstances. The steer appears to have adopted the mineral tub as its own platform. It probably has a declaration to make. I would love to say this is an isolated incident, but it's not. He does it every opportunity he gets. As evident from the others, they are not interested in the subject.
