Lunasi is returning to its roots with a new (to us) organic tipi and lodgepole pine poles treated with linseed oil. We shall forever hope to be known by our neighbors as “The Tipi People”. If you are ever lost and trying to find us, try asking for that or “the hippies” 🙂 most people who came to Lunasi in the 1970’s will remember that the tipis were the main dwelling and hang out place across the creek in a field in the woods, with a cattail-roofed kitchen, as the old farmhouse on the road was pretty rough then. This new tipi is gazing out over the valley next to our pond, and will make for a great place to sleep this summer.
This is good news to see such innovative farmers and business people in our area!
