Farris Farms Farris Farms is based in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee where this family-owned business began in 2015.

We pride ourselves in quality products to include local honey and specialty honeys from other parts of the country, and live bees and queens for sale. Farris Farms has honeybee apiary sites scattered across the hills and fields of Maury County. The farms in which we reside on have many sources of nectars and pollens for the bees to thrive. We have great working relationships with these farmers/
landowners who love the idea of having honeybees.

It’s been a busy late spring season here in southern middle Tennessee. The main honey flow came early this year and is all but done. Now on to the Lindens (Basswood) and Sumac soon to follow. Queen rearing and mating nucs are in full swing, with honey pulling to begin soon. New colonies are being transferred into new homes for the summer. Summer splits and re queening are on the horizon. I also had a little time to visit with beeks passing thru the area.
