We’re excited to be harvesting cauliflower for both markets this week! This popular Asian variety is called ‘Song TJS-65’ also called green-stem or soft-curd cauliflower. We roasted some earlier this week and dipped it in a chipotle sauce YUM!!

Mystery radishes ??? The radish seed packet wasn’t as advertised but they still turned out tasty & beautiful come try our mysterious radishes tomorrow from 8-NOON! 🛸🫆👽🛰️⁉️🧐

Today more than 50 ISA caucus members came together for the Annual Fall Caucus Meeting. It’s an opportunity for caucus members to discuss ISA’s proposed policy agenda for the next legislative session. This process doesn't just happen overnight.

Throughout the year, members have been involved in developing ISA’s priorities every step of the way. This fall, 86-members took our Annual Policy Survey and a newly formed Legislative Leadership Team, consisting of 10 members and ISA staff, reviewed the results and developed the proposal put forth today. The next step for members will be to vote on the 2026 Policy Agenda at our Annual Members Meeting coming up on December 10th.

We made a major delivery to our local food bank in Monroe County. Thanks to the LFPA program and Illinois Eats, any surplus of vegetables from our farm go directly to those in need in our community. This produce isn’t “old” or rotten—in fact, much of it was harvested this week. The program helps provide fresh, nutritious food to a system typically filled with non-perishable items. We firmly believe that access to nutritious food should be a fundamental right for everyone!
