Dry those summer herbs for future use with or without a dehydrator. Hang them dry somewhere with good airflow.

Loving this ruby red hibiscus simple syrup using fresh hibiscus calyces. Very long growing season but definitely a beauty to have in the garden

My first encounter with lemon verbena was at a local botanical garden and I’ve always wanted to grow some. Well, here we are. There are many ways to use this fragrant herb and we’re starting with the simplest , a tea. I’m not saying replace your morning coffee but trust me, replacing that 3rd cup with this lemon verbena tea is a choice you might just enjoy 😉. Growing it ? Even better and easy to grow too

Homemade no stir peanut butter! Ever seen the “no stir” peanut butter and still have to fight with the chunk at the bottom of the jar? Making peanut butter at home is quite fun! We even made some chunky peanut butter too.
