I was visiting with a friend recently and the subject of what to cook with ground pork came up. Chris & I enjoy ground pork just as much as ground beef.

I thought it would be helpful to share my go to recipe.

I am starting off strong with Chris' favorite! I will make this for his birthday dinner or for anything special or because its Wednesday. You can spice it up (literally) by making it with spicy or hot ground pork or keep it simple with our sage flavor. This evening we had it with sage ground pork.

All flavors (spicy, hot, or sage) are $6/pound.

Chris has spent the afternoon cleaning out the barn.

Don't worry the calves are all still here, but the manure is outta' here and on to the field south of our place. We are so lucky to have neighbors that dont mind a little free fertilizer!

When we let the bovine back in they will have a nice clean and comfy bed... and like a pack of teenage boys... they will trash it almost immediately!

Thanks Chris for the hours it took to clean and the 5 minutes it took for the bovine to mess it up!
