Today as we enjoy our time with family and friends we must take time to remember why we have today's holiday. While Veterans day honors all Veterans, today is a bit more somber for today we honor the fallen, the ones that paid the ultimate price for freedom.

We got us a good deal on us some new transportation to go to shows. We are working on fabricating a cattle ramp and some pens in the back. Should make travel quick. Gonna get on YouTube to figure out how to fly it. Probably gonna get her wrapped in Royal Blue with our logo. Update was able to hire a pilot. She will fly anywhere as long as there is a red bucket with feed in front of her nose.

Bree 's aunt Clare Conoley Bozell took some awesome photos around the farm this weekend she always catches some awesome nature shots. We always look forward to seeing what she gets pics of.

Raising cattle can be a roller coaster of emotions. We had two calfs we were anxiously awaiting. The first calf was from none other than our girl KLD Time To Shine. She gave birth to a beautiful little heifer last friday unfortunately we lost the little calf. Even us "tough" cattlemen have a soft spot for our animals. So it is always sad to lose one, but unfortunately that is how it goes sometimes. God needed her for his herd.
Well this morning the second spring calf we had been waiting on finally came. The Dam is the very locally famous Mary and the Sire was our bull THF Up North. It was his first calf. Unfortunately the calf is a little bull, but he is healthy, spunky, and handsome little fella. So we will count our blessings.

While it may be gorgeous I think the cattle as well as us humans all are over this winter wonderland. Unfortunately the muddy mess that will come will also not be fun.
