I have seen this type of post in more than one of my friend’s walls recently and while I am 100% onboard with the message (yep I too failed for the Mary Kay hype years ago), I saw Thermomix listed here.
And it hurt me a little bit. Thermomix is NOT A PYRAMID SCHEME. There’s no FRAUD. There’s no targeting to take advantage of you. Anybody that think all direct sales are a scam, I invite you to understand how Thermomix works and the commission structure. It is not based on anyone’s “bulk order”, in fact you don’t carry inventory. There are no hidden fees. There’s no hidden agenda.
I have loved the Thermomix itself for years (before it was a thing in the US), I have been spoiled by the company and continue to be even when I don’t sell as much anymore. It is a true opportunity for direct selling without risk.
Now I agree with the post, it feels like a cult. The people won’t let you leave. It will continue to pull you in and always give it “one more go”, even when you feel like you are done with it. My people, they refuel my energy to continue.
I will forever speak well about Thermomix USA regardless of if it is as a customer, consultant or as in the past, Team Leader.
