Meister's Bar: Columbus, Ohio

I was completely caught off guard by this place. Walking into a neighborhood bar with pool tables, great music, TVs showing the World Cup, and an awesome crowd, I never expected one of the best Chicago-style deep dish pizzas I've ever had. But that's exactly what Meister's delivered.

If you're looking for a deep dish that's as close to authentic Chicago style as you'll find in Central Ohio, this is your spot. We ordered the pepperoni, and it was absolutely loaded. The 16-inch deep dish weighs what feels like 10+ pounds and costs only $25, an unbelievable value. Bring a few friends... or a dolley!!

The atmosphere was just as impressive as the pizza. Great vibes, cold drinks, sports on the TVs, pool tables, and a laid-back neighborhood feel make this a place you'll want to hang out long after the pizza is gone.

I highly recommend to anyone craving an incredible deep dish pizza. It's proof that sometimes the best pizza isn't found in a traditional pizza joint.... It's found in your new, favorite bar!

We had a phenomenal experience at Adriatico's! The menu has plenty of great options, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were excellent. We were seated quickly and enjoyed watching the USA vs. Australia World Cup match on the many TVs throughout the restaurant. Even better, Team USA came away with a 2–0 win!

As for the food, it did not disappoint. We started with the fried pickles, which were a great appetizer while we waited for our pizza. The star of the meal was the Sicilian Margherita pizza. It was easily our favorite Sicilian pizza we've had so far. The sauce was outstanding, and the crust was absolutely perfect, crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right.

If I could change one thing, it would be having the basil chopped rather than served as full leaves. The flavor was excellent, but I felt the larger leaves could sometimes overpower a bite. That's purely a personal preference and certainly didn't take away from how much we enjoyed the pizza.

Overall, Adriatico's delivered great food, a fun atmosphere, and excellent service. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more items on the menu!
